Sibionics and Nanomed, as the authorized distributor of Sibionics, participated in the National Symposium titled "Diabetes in 2024: New Knowledge and New Challenges," held from September 27 to 29, 2024, in the Congress Hall of SB Merkur – Termomineralno kupatilo in Vrnjačka Banja. Sibionics was one of the friends of the symposium, which has been held for the eighth time, aiming to become a tradition and gain an international character.

This expert gathering brought together the most eminent specialists in Serbia, including Prof. Dr. Nebojša M. Lalić, Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Đukić, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Jotić, and Prof. Dr. Edita Stokić, with the goal of educating and exchanging knowledge about the latest trends in diabetes treatment.

The symposium program included various panel discussions and lectures, covering topics such as "Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes – What Should Be the Therapeutic Focus in 2024?" as well as specialized sessions on Type 1 diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention in diabetes.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of diabetes, with a particular focus on glucose sensors and continuous glucose monitoring, as well as therapeutic strategies.
